63% of Republicans Say Congressional GOP Is Out of Touch

If you feel (to put things in Ronald Reagan?s terminology) that the GOP has left you, you are not alone. According to a Rasmussen survey:

  • 63% of Republicans across the country?think the Congressional GOP?is out of touch with its base
  • Only 30% of likely GOP voters think the Congressional GOP has?done a ?good job representing their party?s values over the past several years.?

According to a Rasmussen poll, 63% of Republicans across the country believe congressional Republicans are out of touch with the party?s base.

In addition, only 30% of likely GOP voters think Republicans in Congress have done a ?good job representing their party?s values over the past several years.?

As recent polls have indicated, voters in the Republican party are becoming more conservative, and the Republican leaders in Congress are seen as not being as conservative as the party?s base.

Rasmussen Reports surveyed 1,000 likely voters between January 13 and 14. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points.
