York College men's soccer wins in 2OT against Salisbury

Chris Weaver's goal lifted the Spartans past CAC rival Salisbury, 2-1.

Chris Weaver scored in the second overtime to lift the York College men's soccer team over conference rival Salisbury, 2-1.

The Sea Gulls scored the first goal of the match early on as Matt Greene's header beat York goalie Jesse Derksen.

With time slowly running out, the Spartans finally got on the board as Eli Bjerk scored the equalizer to send the game to overtime. Bjerk's goal came only minutes after Derksen saved a Salisbury penalty kick.

Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first overtime period, so a second was needed to try and decide the winner. Weaver notched the game-winner in dramatic fashion as he was able to beat one defender and then put the ball by Salisbury keeper John Vnenchak.

York College improved to 8-2-1 overall on the season. The Spartans hold a 2-0 record in CAC play.

Archive ? Importance of Personal Finance Management

finance managementWhen a person reaches the age of majority, is on track to take full responsibility for managing their personal finances. Whereas parents have done their homework for the child until that age, are not responsible from that moment the errors in personal finance management of their child.

The art of managing personal finances can be taught through a structured learning or may be an innate quality in the mindset of the person. You must then define the strategies to ensure that every decision made in terms of personal finance management is backed by real experience and a desire to improve their financial prospects in the medium to long term.

What is amazing is that people fall into the same traps that his predecessors have fallen, as if there was nothing to learn throughout the process. It is also a unique feature of personal finance have the opportunity to improve past behavior. If there is a problem with personal finance management that occurs again in our life we must make sure that this time we will take the right decision, based on past experience. Not many things in life that can offer this type of opportunity.

The most basic principle that will determine success in the management of personal finances is the ability of people to control revenues and expenditures. These two variables should be approximately equal to stay in a neutral financial position. The idea is that income is greater than the expense and the person may start having some surplus that can be allocated to savings and you can invest at a later stage. Most people who fall into problems in the management of their Personal finances often spend more than they earn. To make matters worse they might decide to borrow money to cover shortfalls that have occurred in your personal budget. So poor an income stream combined with rising debt trap can reach the person completely.

Debt is one of the main problems for the management of personal finances, there are a multitude of financial companies that offer credit cards and various types of loans with really simple requirements, we know that these can charge very high interest rates and change the conditions thereof, causing it to lose control of debts.

Roseanne Barr on why she?s running for president: Americans ?don?t dig? our corrupt government

By Jonathan Terbush
Saturday, September 29, 2012 18:58 EDT

?

Actress Roseannae Barr explained in an interview Friday with Current TV?s Cenk Uygur?that she?s still pursuing a low-profile presidential campaign because the government and both parties are bought and paid for by corporate interests, and that average Americans, ?don?t dig that.?

Saying that her biggest issue was, ?peace in the world,? Barr, who is running on the Peace and Freedom Party ticket,?attacked the political status quo a, ?duopolistic fundraising machine of the prison/military industrial complex.? In particular, she slammed the privatization of civic institutions and questioned the ?use of prison labor to boost the economy, claiming that 90% of house paint is manufactured by inmates.

?We?re exporting war, and we?re also using prison labor as our manufacturing base,? Barr said.

?They?re talking about privatizing prisons and stuff like that, well, you know I?m the legalization candidate because a lot of the people who are going to jail to make this paint are teenage working class kids and a lot of them are people of color,? she said. ?I just don?t think thats? the kind of country we want.?

Yet those problems persist because, she said, candidates from both parties are beholden to the wealthy donors who finance their campaigns, and not to the American people.

?Nobody in our country is really behind any of this, privatizing prisons and schools or any of this other stuff you get when the highest office and all of your government is for sale to the highest bidder,? she said. ?We don?t dig that.?

As for why she?s opposing Obama, Barr said her candidacy would push him in the right direction on some issues where they had disagreements.

?If I were in OBama?s positon, I would do some different things,? she said. ?And so I?m kind of running so that I can offer Obama other ideas,? she said.

Barr sought the Green Party nomination earlier this year, though the party instead picked Jill Stein to represent them in November.

Methods For Choosing A Great Tutor

Most parents want their children to do well in their academic studies, which can help them succeed now and later in life by helping them get into college, and get into a promising career. However, some students find it difficult to keep up in school and begin falling behind. When this happens, many parents want to find their child a tutor but may not know how to go about finding the right one.

Deciding When to Hire

One of the most difficult parts of hiring a tutor is determining when it's the right time to do so. Some of the most common reasons parents choose to hire a tutor include:

- A child that is unable to master basic skills in a subject and needs to be re-taught in a more personalized setting

-A child who has learning disabilities that make it difficult to keep up with the pace of teaching in the classroom

-A child with difficulty organizing and managing their time, and is having trouble keeping up with the class schedule and handing in assignments on time

-A child with medical, social, emotional, or behavioral problems who is unable to effectively learn in the traditional classroom setting

-A desire to help their child get ahead

Making the Right Choice

No matter what the reason, parents who are choosing a tutor should consider several things before hiring one.

Talk to your child about the decision. Involving your child at the earliest possible point in the decision-making process, and explaining the need for the tutor, can help the child be more accepting when it comes time to work with the tutor. It's also a good idea to involve your child in the interview process, if possible.

Ask for recommendations. Your child's teacher, school, or even other parents may be able to provide you with information about the best tutors in the area.

Check credentials, experience, and training. While this may seem obvious, it's important to ask about what kinds of training, certifications, and credentials the tutors have. You may want to consider working with a professional tutoring company to ensure that the tutors you are working with have been properly certified and trained to work with your child. In addition, ask about the past experience each tutor has in working with children. Be sure they have relevant experience tutoring children who are similar to yours in age and ability level.

Develop a Tutoring Plan. In order to be sure you're getting what you paid for, and your child is making progress in the tutoring program, you should sit down and develop a tutoring plan in advance with the individual you choose. You may even want to have the tutor work directly with the child's teacher so the tutoring can reinforce the learning that happens in school.

Find a tutor that is convenient for your schedule. In addition to finding one that can work around the other things in your schedule, be sure the tutor is available during the peak learning times when your child can be most engaged. This may not be immediately after school, when the child is tired and easily distracted.

Ultimately you want to choose a tutor that works well with your child, is knowledgeable and capable of teaching the material in a way that engages the child in learning, and is affordable and available when you need them.

Top Reasons to Outsource Your Nonprofit Accounting

Financial resource management is one of the most important aspects required to keep nonprofit organizations growing and thriving. Your nonprofit organization can only succeed if it is led from a position of fiscal responsibility and sound accounting practices. Don?t have the budget for a full-fledged accounting staff for your nonprofit? Outsourcing is the answer.

Here?s why?.

3. Access to a team of knowledgeable, experienced, nonprofit accountants
4. Allows your organization to focus on its mission instead of the finances
5. Accuracy in reporting that will allow for better decision making

Libratone intros Zipp: the 'first and only' portable AirPlay speaker, expectedly wrapped in wool (video)

Libratone Zipp

If you've been following the surge of AirPlay speakers that started hitting the market in 2011, you've likely feasted your eyes on the spendy wool-clad systems by Libratone. While its larger Live and Lounge units have primarily been purposed for households, its new Zipp speaker is the being touted as the "first and only" portable AirPlay speaker. Make no mistake, unlike B&O Play's portable AirPlay-equipped Beolit 12 ($800), the Zipp's loaded with Libratone's proprietary PlayDirect protocol, meaning it doesn't require a separate wireless network / router for iDevices to connect to it over the air. The Zipp moniker is a play on the swappable wool grill which cozies around its vertically-standing tubular enclosures. Weighing four pounds and measuring in at 10.2 inches high by 4.8 inches in diameter, this "portable" unit is a good bit larger than the Blutooth-equipped Jawbone Big Jambox placed sideways, but it'll certainly fit in a backpack -- hey, it does have a leather carrying strap. Thankfully, that weight is partially due to its internal rechargeable battery, which should last up to eight hours.

As far as the speakers go, you'll find a duo of 1-inch ribbon tweeters facing the sides for the left and right channels, along with a 4-inch up-firing woofer. The rig also features Libratone's signature FullRoom design, which forces a 360-degree dispersion of the sound by way of deflectors in front of the tweeters. Beyond that, it'll naturally work with Libratone's existing iPhone app, allowing you to change the DSP on the fly for optimal output regardless of its placement in a room. The Zipp will hit Apple Stores later this October wrapped with a single red or grey zippered grill for $399, while other retailers will carry the $449 Classic Color and Funky Color editions, which each come with a trio of those wool grills (black, blue and red for the Classic, and black, pink and yellow for the Funky). Past that, a single grill by itself will cost you a relatively expensive $49 directly from Libratone. In the meantime, join us past the break for more details about the unit itself and PlayDirect, our initial impressions and a hands-on video overview.

HBT: Dunn busts out of slump to rescue White Sox

Adam Dunn entered tonight?s action batting .115 (2-for-21) with zero homers and an 8/3 K/BB ratio over his last seven games, but he picked a pretty good time to bust out of his recent slump.

Dunn helped the White Sox snap a five-game losing streak tonight by homering twice in a 5-4 win over the Indians. He had a solo shot to center field off Zach McAllister in the sixth inning and a go-ahead three-run shot to right-center field off Vinnie Pestano with two outs in the bottom of the eighth.

After hitting just .159 with 11 home runs last season in the first year of a four-year, $56 million contract, Dunn has 41 home runs and 94 RBI this season. This is the sixth 40-homer season of his career and his first since 2008.

The Tigers defeated the Royals 6-2 tonight behind ace Justin Verlander, so the White Sox remain one game in front in the American League Central.

New Jersey: Usual, Customary and (Un)balanced - Workers Comp ...

Cooper Road in Middletown, New Jersey, is rumored to be haunted by strange, ghostly creatures. They jump out from behind trees and startle the drivers of cars traveling down an unpaved portion of the road. There are no street lights and the road has sharp turns, so the appearance of these apparitions is both sudden and alarming. Based upon the numerous oddities in New Jersey's workers comp law, these ghostly beings might well be carrying sign boards that read "Ruined by balanced billing."

From the perspective of virtually any other state jurisdiction, New Jersey's approach to the reimbursement of medical providers in the workers comp system is demon-ridden and rather strange. To begin with, there is no fee schedule. Providers are entitled to their "usual and customary" fees. By leaving fees to the providers, the state creates an unusual level of tension between these providers and the insurance carriers and self-insured employers who pay the bills.

The tensions are not limited to the payers, however. When a payer refuses to cover all or part of the "usual and customary" bill, the provider has the option of billing the injured worker for the balance. The euphemism is "balanced billing" but in both concept and practice this is as unbalanced as a comp system can get.

The Broken Premise
The fundamental premise of workers comp is that the medical costs and lost wages of workers injured on the job will be covered by their employers. In return, workers have given up the right to sue their employers for work-related injuries and illnesses. In most states, the protective barrier between injured workers and the costs of treatment is absolute: there are no copays, no deductibles and no fees whatsoever for injured workers. Comp even covers the cost of travel to and from treatment. "Out of pocket" is a concept that simply has no place in workers comp.

Medical coverage under workers compensation is, in the words of my colleague Tom Lynch, "the best coverage plan in the world": it pays for everything and includes indemnity payments for lost wages, too. The only catch - and it's a big one - is that to qualify you must be injured "in the course and scope" of employment, with an injury "arising out of" employment.

Balanced billing is patently unfair to workers. Routine disputes between medical providers and payers spill over to injured workers. Unpaid portions of medical bills are sent to the workers, who are in no position to pay them. When workers routinely refuse to pay these bills, they may find themselves harassed by collection agencies. Not exactly what the doctor ordered when you are trying to recover from your injury and return to work.

Senate 2022 to the Rescue?
Senate Bill 2022 is wending its way through the New Jersey legislature. The bill recognizes the inherent unfairness of balanced billing and would put an end to the practice. Any disputes about payment would revert to the workers comp bureaucracy, but under no circumstances would the disputed portion of any medical bill become the responsibility of the injured worker.

It's interesting to note that the bill explicitly avoids the issue of a fee schedule. Medical providers will continue to bill for their "usual and customary" fees, which, in turn, will keep the cost of medical treatment relatively high. But at least the injured workers will be exempt from the dispute. That's the least the Garden State can do in its belated effort to restore fairness and equity to the comp system.

Here's hoping that S 2022, in one form or another, finds its way to the Governor's desk in time for Halloween. That would soothe the ghosts on Cooper Road and allow them to revise their signs to address some other glaring inequity in our imperfect world.

US Postal Service Losing up to $25 Million Per Day | Bankruptcy ...

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 08, 2012

RoadFish.com mens lifestyle and finance magazine today turned its attention to a critical financial situation occurring within the United States Postal Service. The USPS is reportedly losing up to $ 25 million per day, and the Postmaster General is proposing to close up to 3,700 post offices around the nation which would mean elimination 28,000 jobs for postal workers.

William La Jeunesse reported for Fox News that as it stands, the USPS has lost over $ 25 billion on the past five years and already, are facing a projected loss of $ 14.1 billion for 2012 alone. There are several opinions about how such a critical issue should be solved. The Senate recently approved a bill known as The 21st Century Postal Service Act of 2011, which would set aside $ 34 billion in federal funds to go towards the USPS and helping them to trim costs. The bill would go against what the Postmaster General is proposing however, which is to close 3,700 post offices around the country and to eliminate around 28,000 jobs. The USPS is also pushing to end overnight delivery for first-class mail and to do away with Saturday mail delivery. The bill would prevent these proposed delivery changes and would effectively disable the Postmaster General from closing the proposed post offices.

The article includes a quote from Republican Representative Dennis Ross of Florida, who stated, If the post office was a business, it would be in bankruptcy. Its insolvent. La Jeunesse reports that the USPS has been asking Congress to allow them to make budget cuts through office closings and laying off employees for years, and Congress has been denying these requests. La Jeunesse writes that the USPS has a timeline on their inability to close post offices and make other cuts, and the deadline is May 15th. So without a compromise between the House and the Senate, the USPS could be announcing office closings as early as May 16th when their moratorium ends. Ross is quoted as saying, Over the last six years, the Postal Service lost 25 percent of their revenues. We as a Congress have to look at the fact that the post office is not in the 21st century. It?s still 50 years behind and we have to bring it up, modernize it and allow it to take advantage of market trends.?

RoadFish.coms Senior staff writer is quoted as saying, I always knew this day would come. Its the age of technology, and a lot of it eliminates the need for snail mail. People are able to accomplish most of what they need to do faster by means of computers and cell phones. I pay all my bills online, I bank electronically, I even have an app on my phone that takes a picture of something, converts it into PDF, and then allows me to email or text that document. Its both sad and revolutionary, but its seeming that we are becoming too technologically advanced to need quite so many US Postal services.

According to the above-mentioned Fox News article, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe states that the Senates moratorium and bill are preventing him from saving approximately $ 20 billion. A political blog posted on the Washington Post by Joe Davidson likewise disagrees with the Senate legislation surrounding the USPS financial issues. The USPS Board of Governors Chairman Thurgood Marshall Jr. stated at a board meeting on Friday, When we ask whether the legislation puts the Postal Service back on a path to financial stability, the bottom line is that the Senate bill does not provide the Postal Service with the flexibility and speed that it needs to have a sustainable business model.

RoadFish.com is torn between sparing millions of taxpayers dollars in the proposed Senate bill, and laying off thousands of American postal workers through closing hundreds of postal offices. RoadFish.coms Senior staff writer is quoted saying, I believe that in looking at what is the greatest good for the greatest number of people, it would be scaling back on USPS services and some offices. I wish there could be a compromise, so that fewer offices could be closed and more jobs could be spared. But if the Senates bill goes through, taxpayers all over the country will feel the pinch. Many of these are people who are struggling to pay down debt, whose credit scores have taken a blow from the recession, and a tax increase would not fare them well. It is a sad situation, but it is reflective of where we as a nation stand from a technology viewpoint.

The above-mentioned Washington Post blog includes a statement made by Postmaster General Donahoe at Fridays board meeting stating, We need to eliminate excess mail processing capacity. We need to rethink how we manage our retail footprint. We need to manage our health-care costs better. If we can gain the flexibility to move quickly in these areas, we can return to profitability. The above Fox News article reports that Donahue has a news conference scheduled for Wednesday to address the May 15th moratorium and the various options for the USPS.

GOP Rep. Says Obama Has ?Helped Jump Start a New Ottoman Empire?

Louie Gohmert

Getty Images

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) on Friday accused President Barack Obama of ushering in a second Ottoman Empire in the Middle East through his foreign policy.

Speaking on the House floor, Gohmert accused the Obama administration of allowing Iran to influence Iraq by pulling U.S. troops out, and suggested the attacks on U.S. diplomatic missions in the Middle East and North Africa are the result of waning American influence from that decision, The Hill reported.

?Thank you President Barack Hussein Obama. This will be quite a legacy for you,? Gohmert said. ?I?m not one of those who says he?s not a Christian. All I know is that?s between him and God. But what I do know is he has helped jump start a new Ottoman Empire and left our friend and ally Israel so vulnerable in this sea of radicalism that he has helped bring to the surface.?

Gohmert said a recent report showed that approval for the U.S. among those in Muslim countries had slipped from 33 percent under President George W. Bush in 2008 to now just 15 percent under Obama, according to The Hill. A Pew Research Center survey released in June noted that the median approval in Muslim nations for Obama?s policies has declined over the last three years from 34 percent to 15 percent.

?This president is trying to buy affection from people who are bullies, who are radical Islamists, who want to destroy us. You?re not going to get love and affection, you get contempt,? Gohmert said.

Gohmert made a similar reference to a ?new Ottoman Empire? in another floor speech earlier this month.

BENGHAZI, Libya (AP) ? Hundreds of protesters angry over last week's killing of the U.S. ambassador to Libya stormed the compound of the Islamic extremist militia suspected in the attack, evicting militiamen and setting fire to their building Friday.

In an unprecedented show of public anger at Libya's rampant militias, the crowd overwhelmed the compound of the Ansar al-Shariah Brigade in the center of the eastern city of Benghazi.

Ansar al-Shariah fighters initially fired in the air to disperse the crowd, but eventually abandoned the site with their weapons and vehicles after it was overrun by waves of protesters shouting "No to militias."

"I don't want to see armed men wearing Afghani-style clothes stopping me in the street to give me orders, I only want to see people in uniform," said Omar Mohammed, a university student who took part in the takeover of the site, which protesters said was done in support of the army and police.

No deaths were reported in the incident, which came after tens of thousands marched in Benghazi against armed militias. One vehicle was also burned at the compound.

For many Libyans, the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi was the last straw in one of the biggest problems Libya has faced since the ouster and death of longtime dictator Moammar Gadhafi around a year ago ? the multiple mini-armies that with their arsenals of machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades are stronger than the regular armed forces and police.

The militias, a legacy of the rag-tag popular forces that fought Gadhafi's regime, tout themselves as protectors of Libya's revolution, providing security where police cannot. But many say they act like gangs, detaining and intimidating rivals and carrying out killings.

Militias made up of Islamic radicals like Ansar al-Shariah are notorious for attacks on Muslims who don't abide by their hardline ideology. Officials and witnesses say fighters from Ansar al-Shariah led the attack on the U.S. consulate, which killed Amb. Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

After taking over the Ansar compound, protesters then drove to attack the Benghazi headquarters of another Islamist militia, Rafallah Sahati. The militiamen opened fire on the protesters, who were largely unarmed. At least 20 were wounded, and there were unconfirmed witness reports of three protesters killed.

Earlier in the day, some 30,000 people filled a broad boulevard as they marched along a lake in central Benghazi on Friday to the gates of the headquarters of Ansar al-Shariah.

"No, no, to militias," the crowd chanted, filling a broad boulevard. They carried banners and signs demanding that militias disband and that the government build up police to take their place in keeping security. "Benghazi is in a trap," signs read. "Where is the army, where is the police?"

Other signs mourned the killing of Stevens, reading, "The ambassador was Libya's friend" and "Libya lost a friend." Military helicopters and fighter jets flew overhead, and police mingled in the crowd, buoyed by the support of the protesters.

The march was the biggest seen in Benghazi, Libya's second largest city and home to 1 million people, since the fall of Gadhafi in August 2011. The public backlash comes in part in frustration with the interim government, which has been unable to rein in the armed factions. Many say that officials' attempts to co-opt fighters by paying them have only fueled the growth of militias without bringing them under state control or integrating them into the regular forces.

Residents of another main eastern city, Darna, have also begun to stand up against Ansar al-Shariah and other militias.

The anti-militia fervor in Darna is notable because the city, in the mountains along the Mediterranean coast north of Benghazi, has long had a reputation as a stronghold for Islamic extremists. During the Gadhafi era, it was the hotbed of a deadly Islamist insurgency against his regime. A significant number of the Libyan jihadists who travelled to Afghanistan and Iraq during recent wars came from Darna. During the revolt against him last year, Gadhafi's regime warned that Darna would declare itself an Islamic Emirate and ally itself with al-Qaida.

But now, the residents are lashing out against Ansar al-Shariah, the main Islamic extremist group in the city.

"The killing of the ambassador blew up the situation. It was disastrous," said Ayoub al-Shedwi, a young bearded Muslim preacher in Darna who says he has received multiple death threats because has spoken out against militias on a radio show he hosts. "We felt that the revolution is going in vain."

Leaders of tribes, which are the strongest social force in eastern Libya, have come forward to demand that the militias disband. Tribal leaders in Benghazi and Darna announced this week that members of their tribes who are militiamen will no longer have their protection in the face of anti-militia protests. That means the tribe will not avenge them if they are killed.

Activists and residents have held a sit-in for the past eight days outside Darna's Sahaba Mosque, calling on tribes to put an end to the "state of terrorism" created by the militias.

Militiamen have been blamed for a range of violence in Darna. On the same day Stevens killed in Benghazi, a number of elderly Catholic nuns and a priest who have lived in Darna for decades providing free medical services, were attacked, reportedly beaten or stabbed. There have been 32 killings over the past few months, including the city security chief and assassinations of former officers from Gadhafi's military.

Darna's residents are conservative, but they largely don't fit the city's reputation as extremists. Women wear headscarves, but not the more conservative black garb and veil that covers the entire body and face. In the ancient city's narrow alleys, shops display sleeveless women dresses and the young men racing by in cars blare Western songs.

And many are impatient with Ansar al-Shariah's talk of imposing its strict version of Islamic law. The group's name means "Supporters of Shariah Law."

"We are not infidels for God sake. We have no bars, no discos, we are not practicing vice in the street," said Wassam ben Madin, a leading activist in the city who lost his right eye in clashes with security forces on the first day of the uprising against Gadhafi. "This is not the time for talk about Shariah. Have a state first then talk to me about Shariah."

"If they are the 'supporters of Shariah' then who are we?" he said. "We don't want the flag of al-Qaida raised over heads," he added, referring to Ansar al-Shariah's black banner.

One elder resident at the Sahaba Mosque sit-in, Ramadan Youssef, said, "We will talk to them peacefully. We will tell them you are from us and you fought for us" during the civil war against Gadahfi. But "if you say no (to integrating into the) police and army, we will storm your place. It's over."

Officials in the interim government and security forces say they are not strong enough to crack down on the militias. The armed factions have refused government calls for them to join the regular army and police.

So the government has created a "High Security Committee" aimed at grouping the armed factions as a first step to integration. Authorities pay fighters a salary of as much as 1,000 dinars, around $900, to join ? compared to the average police monthly salary of around $200. However, the militias that join still do not abide by government authority, and critics say the lure of salaries has only prompted more militias to form.

Officials and former rebel commanders estimate the number of rebels that actually fought in the 8-month civil war against Gadhafi at around 30,000. But those now listed on the High Security Committee payroll have reached several hundred thousand.

"All these militia and entities are fake ones but it is mushrooming," said Khaled Hadar, a Benghazi-based lawyer. "The government is only making temporarily solutions, but you are creating a disaster."

?

Some people find exercise and dieting quite challenging and Healthy weight Loss Supplements come in handy as they enable them to lose weight stress free. Others are just used to short cuts and exercise and diet is not one of the paths they would consider taking. Unfortunately, most of the people struggling with weight loss venture into the wide pool of available pills without prior research adding a risk to their already existing health problems.

Well, the market is flooded with a wide variety of supplements and a lot of caution is needed when making such a choice. Remember your overall health is important and it would make no sense if you were to take supplements that would put you at a higher risk health wise.

Types of supplements

Basically, they are divided into two broad categories. There are the chemical supplements used in losing weight and there are natural supplements. The chemical supplements also come in many varieties but the most common ones are Meridia, Xenical and Phentermine. All of these contain active ingredients that are used in several ways to affect weight loss. There is also ZMA although it?s more is common among women than men.

Natural weight supplements are also referred to as herbal weight loss supplements. In these, natural ingredients are mixed to affect our weight gain maximally. Sometimes, both chemicals and natural ingredients are mixed to make these supplements. So in real sense, the natural supplements you go for may contain some chemicals.

How do they work?

Most of these supplements are claimed to work by boosting the body?s metabolic system but this may not be true of the chemical supplement. Some of them work by suppressing appetite and limiting a person?s food in take and eventually resulting in weight loss. Some like Xenical have been found to block fat. If used correctly, they are known to make a person reduce weight by almost 30 per cent. It has also been found to work as a long time plan to weight loss.

Precaution

Unfortunately, use of chemical supplements to lose weight is not a recommended healthy way to lose weight. The chemical combinations used to make these drugs can be harmful to our health. The thing is that there are a lot of things about a drug that the company fails to tell you often for their own commercial advantage. We are living in a world with so few people to trust, and it?s very unfortunate the pharmaceutical companies fall under such a category.

Unless it?s a doctor?s prescription, avoid using supplements as a way to lose weight. If you are seriously obese or in dire need to lose weight, then make sure that you go for very healthy weight loss supplements.
