How is the Fairview real estate market doing for August 2012?

It is doing great actually! We have more homes selling by 3.0% and the time it takes to sell your home is taking 43% LESS time to sell. Now we have noticed a slight drop in average sales price of about 6.0%, but with great staging and marketing we can still get top dollar for our homes.
Do not forget that the 4th quarter of the year is a great time to sell. All the buyers that are out and looking are serious and ready to buy. Most buyers do not like to spend the holiday months shopping for a home unless they must move. Thats a great time to be on the market when everyone else is being advised to wait until next spring.
