You waited around, didn't you? You waited to pull the trigger on your?new 4G iPad pre-order. And now the Apple website is showing that?you'll have to wait another week to get your shiny new toy. But don't give up hope ? you can still score a new iPad during Friday's launch.
Apple Stores will open at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 16 for the new iPad event, with a limited stock of non-reserved iPads on hand. Based on past experience, we recommend you show up early ? very early.?Lines form quickly. If you're close by to a store in a major city, that may be your best bet, as they tend to have the most stock and most employees.
Failing that, there are a number of other authorized retailers. Both?Target and?Walmart will be selling iPads on Friday. Electronics retailers?Best Buy and?Radio Shack will have units as well. And if you're a member of?Sam's Club, that may be your best bet ? they'll have stock available on Friday, too.
