Class 1A All-State football: Union County puts five on team

Led by three defensive players, state semifinalist Union County had five first-team selections on the Class 1A All-State Football team. Linebackers Kendall Wright and Cory Houck, and defensive lineman Carl Alexander were all first-team choices. Offensive lineman Caleb Dukes and kicker Joaquin Lova also garnered first-team honors. Alexander, a junior, is the only Union underclassmen on the team.?
