To provide advice and counsel on all human resources management issues across the assigned portfolios including: employee engagement, performance management, recruitment, organizational restructuring; change management; conflict resolution; and creating a respectful workplace. To provide guidance and direction in handling employee relations issues including: progressive discipline; investigations; terminations; return to work and accommodation initiatives, contract interpretation; grievance handling to Step 2;. To research, develop and promote the use of Human Resources best practices. To provide leadership with respect to the DAE HR Practices and to collaborate as required on identifying strategies for implementation. To develop strategic partnerships with clients by providing human resources expertise in consideration of their strategic business plans.
