Bay News Network, Visakhaptnam : International Business programs in MBA particularly in International Business, International Banking & Finance, and Global Logistics & Supply Chain Management launched here in GITAM School of International Business (GSIB) on Monday by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT)in-Charge Director Prof.K.Rangarajan. He advised that students should build their professional networks, and advance their international careers through international businesseducation. He elaborated the future possibilities to the students and told they should improve their competency level by acquiring leadership skills. He also stressed on changes in management Education scenario, tie-ups with industry, using the existing opportunities to grow accordingly. Prof. R. Venkateswarlu, Director In-charge of the school spoke about the GSIB facilities and about three programmes.
He mentioned that out of 145 students admitted in these programmes, students are nearly 15 states are represented, nearly 55% of the students are from engineering background and the remaining from science, commerce, pharmacy etc. Prof. D. Harinarayana, Pro Vice-Chancellor, GITAM University introduced the students about the GITAM University and facilities in the campus. He said that the current developments in the world economies and the prepress of BRICS will create tremendous opportunities to the students of management to steer challenging universities in these countries, he complimented the students for joining management courses with GSIB.
