A recent local study has uncovered in its findings that the risks of suffering from breast cancer are different in Asian women from those women in the West, rather it would be better to clear that Asian women are at higher risks
(almost double) of suffering from the illness, if any of their close relative is suffering with this type of cancer as compared to a Westerner.
It concluded that the Singapore women with a mother, sister or daughter with breast cancer is leading an almost four times riskier life as compared to those women in the region, whose family history is clear of any such evidence.
The findings have been concluded from across the three major races in the region.
Based on earlier findings of all previous studies that had been run to conclude details regarding the issue, it was being thought that the women with cancerous family history are at the double risk of suffering from the illness.
Also, earlier theories cleared several advantages of vitamin D for the cancer suffering women like controlling the growth of the breast cell or even stopping it etc, but research by a team from Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) and four other institutions cleared off all suggestions, saying that the supplements of the vitamin are most beneficial for black women than any other.
